I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba to a family of healthcare practitioners. My father, uncle and grandfather were all medical doctors, and my grandmother was a pharmacist. I became a medical doctor and practiced in Havana for thirteen years before arriving to the United States in 2006. I speak both Spanish and English fluently, but Spanish is my first language.
I decided to go into medicine because I developed an interest in healthcare at an early age, most likely due to the influence of my family member practitioners. I was always impressed by their concern and dedication to their field.
A good day at work means encompasses me cooperating with other staff members and making a significant contribution to my patients’ well-being across different ethnic and age groups.
I want you to know that at Sanitas my goal is for my patients to receive knowledgeable, meticulous, and concerned care.
When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends.
