About me

I decided to pursue medicine because I wanted to help people and improve their quality of life, and also because the human body is a mysterious challenge for me to solve every time I have the privilege to meet a new patient.

What I like about Sanitas the most is that we do not feel rushed in the examination room with our patients. It’s important for me to be able to get to know my patients well in order to better educate them on how to improve their health. We believe that this investment in more time pays big dividends in better health for our patients.

A good day at work for me is being able to walk away knowing I positively impacted a patient’s life in unexpected ways…like a physical examination turning into a counseling session helping a patient with a personal problem affecting his overall health. The body and the mind cannot be separated for purposes of treatment as they are typically affecting each other. That’s why our approach to medicine is comprehensive.

When I take off my white coat, I like to relax and listen to music. The songwriters from the 60s and 70s were fantastic! I also like to play the piano and write poetry.
