As a mental health clinician at Sanitas, I’m passionate about helping patients deal with their stressors and about creating awareness for mental health. The care I provide focuses on patient wellbeing and meeting health goals––and I do it with empathy and active listening. A good day at work means I’m able to help patients learn about their symptoms and normalize their experiences so they don’t feel alone. I was born and raised in beautiful Nicaragua. I came to the U.S. to study psychology and immerse myself in the mental health field. I decided to go into counseling because I didn’t have the proper mental health resources back home and I wanted to be able to help others who don’t have that help either, but need it. In my free time, I like toa watch movies and spend time with my cat. I also enjoy good food, writing, drawing and going on walks.
