Tashelle Sewell, APRN

As a nurse at Sanitas, I empower my patients and provide support to help them improve and manage their health. Going above and beyond to help my patients feel safe, heard and thoroughly taken care of is the highlight of my day. 

I chose to work in the medical field because I love helping people and quality of life is important to me. It's my mission to see my patients live longer, happier, and healthier lives. 

I was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to South Florida at the age of three, which is home to me. My parents are of Caribbean descent so I enjoy learning about new cultures and care about increasing access to healthcare for people who are part of the Caribbean diaspora and other minorities.  

In my personal time, I like to read and the challenge of Sudoku. I also enjoy music and relaxing at the beach.
