As a family nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I spend lots of time with my patients so I understand their current condition and medical history fully. They are treated like family. Because I work in the ICU, I know how delicate the situation is for my patient and their family. I think that being able to comfort and help the patients is an enriching experience. A good day at work means that all my patients were cared for. I go above and beyond to keep them comfortable and happy, and work tirelessly to help solve their medical problems.
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and moved to the United States at a young age. Both of my parents are from Spain, and my immediate family is from Miami, Florida. My mother has been a nurse all my life and inspired me to pursue a career in the medical field. When I was young, I would attend classes with her and liked to watch her work.
When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, whether going to Disney World, camping, or just hanging out. I also volunteer at local animal shelters on the weekends.
