About me

I was born and raised in a small town called Rio Bravo Tamaulipas in Mexico and migrated to the United States after I got married in 1993.  We moved to Houston, Texas in 2000 in search of better education opportunities for the family and eventually settled in Katy, Texas.  I speak both English and Spanish fluently.

I decided to go into medicine because I want to make people feel better. When I was a little girl, my mom was the primary care provider to my paternal grandma, Abuelita Rosa who suffered several strokes throughout her years.  It was beautiful seeing my mom caring for my Abuelita and seeing how she fully recovered after every stroke taught me the importance of dedicated care to help others feel better.

A good day at work means I was able to make a difference in the lives of my patients, their family members, and coworkers while applying my medical knowledge and experience.

I want you to know that at Sanitas we make sure you receive the highest quality care at every encounter whether it be on the phone or at the office.

When I take off my coat, I love to spend time with my family.  I also love to listen to music and try new foods.
