About me

I was born in Canada and grew up in New York. I decided to study medicine because I feel passionate about making a difference in people’s life and what a better way to start than from childhood. What makes pediatrics so rewarding is the long-term relationships that you build over time with children and their families. You watch babies become toddlers, kindergartners, teenagers and possibly watch them marry and treat their kids.

Being a pediatrician is a wonderful opportunity to work with parents and children, coaching them to form lifelong healthy habits, empowering with tools and know-how and offering support during times of need. Forming a trusting relationship with parents and their children is essential. That’s why at Sanitas, we’re given more time to spend our patients, to listen, to get to know them well and to work together on a wellness and treatment plan.

In my free time, I love traveling with my husband and two children.  I also enjoy painting, drawing and reading a great book.
