About me

I was born and raised in Pennsylvania. I later moved to the beautiful Tampa area, a great community with a fantastic culture, where you get at least 9 months of 70-80 degree weather and sunshine to enjoy the outdoors.

I choose the medicine path for the rewarding aspect of helping my patients and my community. I was fortunate to have the support of my family who encourage me to pursue this amazing career.  I have extensive experience in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics.  As an internist, I see all kinds of patients for acute and chronic problems involving anything from their head to their toes. Each patient is unique and each day is different.  My best days at work is when I can take care of our patients’ problems swiftly and reduce their concerns and stress.

While I enjoy working with a variety of patients, I also like getting to know my patients over time and developing a trusting relationship.  My talent as a doctor comes specifically in the art of interviewing and discussing my patients’ problems. Making them feel comfortable so I can gain a complete history about the particular problem that is affecting their daily life. That’s one of the things I love about working at Sanitas where each patient is treated like a family member and given the attention and time they deserve.

When I take off my white coat, I like to spend time with family and friends. I also enjoy fishing as it gives you a chance to unplug, disconnect and time for reflection and meditation.
