I was born in Cuba and moved with my family to the United States in 2016. I graduated from the Medical University of Havana as a Doctor of Medicine in 2004. I have two specialties; Family Medicine and Ophthalmology, and I always aim to provide excellent care for all my patients. Spanish is my native language, but I also speak English. I have also studied French and Chinese, but I only have a basic understanding of the languages.
I decided to go into medicine because I was always interested in how the human body works and wanted to help heal people from an early age. Therefore, I chose a career in medicine, and it is a blessing to be able to continue my vocation here in the United States.
A good day at work means that I have made an improvement in the health and quality of life of my patients.
I want you to know that at Sanitas, we offer comprehensive care where patients will feel like family while being treated with courtesy, respect, and kindness.
When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandmother Maya who is a treasure for everyone in the family. I also enjoy gardening my orchids and traveling to learn more about different cultures.
