About me

I was born in Belize, Central America, and moved to the United States in 2005 to pursue my education. I’ve spent most of my time in Florida, particularly in Miami. Having a Hispanic mother, and growing up in an equally diverse environment, made me feel very much at home. After studying marine biology at Florida International University, I earned my Doctor of Medicine degree at Ross University School of Medicine and completed my Family Medicine residency at Westchester General Hospital. I also have an MBA in Healthcare Management from Keller Graduate School of Business.

After growing up in a community where doctors were in short supply, I always knew I wanted to help bring healthcare to other underserved populations. I appreciate having the chance to see an immediate improvement in a person’s physical and mental well-being as a result of our interventions.

At Sanitas, we understand each patient is unique, and so we take the time to learn about and connect with our patients. This, in turn, helps us to deliver the best care possible.

During my free time, I like to enjoy the outdoors with my family, whether it be going to the park or to the beach. I also enjoy cooking and trying new recipes, SCUBA diving, fishing, and going to the movies.
