About me

I was born and raised in the Philippines. After Medical School, I migrated to New York, where I finished 3 years of Pediatric Residency. I soon met my husband and moved to Michigan to start practicing as a Pediatrician. 7 years later, we moved with our 2 sons to Tennesee and have called it home the last 17 years. I love the warm hospitality and simplicity here. I love teaching and serving the community. As a medical student I organized medical mission programs to teach families and children about basic health care.

I decided to go into medicine because when I was 16, I took care of my sister died at the age of 13 after battling leukemia for 7 months. Since then, I have so much love and compassion for children especially those who are sick.

A good day at work means I have made my patient or their family smile or laugh. When someone comes to the office looking sad or having a bad day I like to lift their burden and share words of hope and encouragement. Nothing compares to seeing a smile on my patients face when they leave the office.

I want to you know that at Sanitas, every patient’s voice and concern will always be heard and taken care of. We highly value the trust that our patients give us.

When I take off my coat, I love putting up my feet and reading books that lift up my soul. When our sons are around I love playing tennis or pickle ball with my family.
