At Sanitas, I give my patients the best care possible. I get to know them, share information and, together, we agree on a treatment plan that’s reasonable, convenient and affordable for them. I’m fluent in both English and Spanish, so it’s a good day at work when I‘m able to help a patient feel better, get to the bottom of an undiagnosed or untreated illness and create an effective treatment plan. I was born and raised mostly in Miami, which is still my home. Caring for others has always been my dream so a career in medicine was natural for me. Nursing has been more rewarding than I imagined. My father has multiple medical problems, including cancer, and suffers from anxiety. I cared for my mother who had cancer and I’m an advocate for hospice care. Knowing life is precious, short and unpredictable, I love to spend time with my large family. We often have dinner together, and most weekends, we spend time with my siblings. I love to cook and read, and enjoy the outdoors with my husband, our five children and our dogs. We walk in the park, ride bikes and, on sunny weekends, try to make it to the beach.
