I was born in Bogota, Colombia and moved as a child to Florida with my parents who were seeking better opportunities for our family. I have lived in central Florida for over thirty years. I have traveled to many countries in my life seeking to learn about new cultures and experience different lifestyles. Among my most meaningful travels were those on mission bringing healthcare to people in need. I speak both Spanish and English fluently. I decided to go into medicine because I have a passion to assist individuals in optimizing their health in hopes of preventing or eliminating disease. A good day at work means I helped bring hope to an individual by offering them a concise treatment plan. I consider it a good day when a patient leaves in better health than when they came through the door. I want you to know that at Sanitas I will treat you and your family like my very own and use the very best evidence-based practice for disease prevention and management. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time my husband and three boys outdoors, playing a game, or having a family movie night. I also enjoy dancing and singing karaoke.
