About me

I am originally from Havana, Cuba where I was born, raised, and educated. Since 1993 I have been practicing medicine in the fields of Internal Medicine and Surgery. My work has taken me around the world from Cuba to Brazil and finally the United States where I have lived since 2001. I decided to pursue a career in medicine based on my intellectual curiosity and passion to help others. There were doctors in my family growing up, and they inspired me to follow in their footsteps.

A good day at work for me means that I can spend as much time as possible with my patients. I enjoy interacting with them, helping them, and providing treatment plans that will help them feel healthy again. I also enjoy showing them the power of preventative care to fight against illnesses and medical issues before they arise.

At Sanitas, patient health and wellbeing are our top priorities. We go above and beyond to find new treatment options that have a high potential of working.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching sports and movies, and exercising at the local fitness center.
