I was born in Cuba and moved to Miami at four years old where I was raised by my grandmother. I am a husband and proud dad of two boys aged two and nine years old. I strongly believe that the most important spiritual principle is humility, and that our purpose in life is to be of service to others.
I speak both English and Spanish. While at home I mostly speak Spanish to my sons, so they become fluent. I’ll speak English while at work unless my patient would prefer to speak in Spanish.
I decided to go into medicine because I strongly believe that I can help patients get better and get their life back to normal.
A good day at work means I’m able to reach a calm consensus with my patients and able to achieve the very best outcome for them.
I want you to know that at Sanitas, we show our patients the utmost compassion. Compassion is the marvelous thing that allows us to be human.
When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my family and coaching my sons little league baseball team.
