About me

I completed my education, training and spend most of my career in Connecticut, where you’re never too far from the outdoors with sweeping views and fresh air. I initially wanted to become a nurse, but decided to pursue a family medicine because it allows me to care for patients of all ages with different backgrounds with various levels of care needs.
When practicing family medicine, every day is different. I help educate patients on how to change their lives to become healthy, achieve goals, and make informed decisions, whatever their goals may be. At the end of the day I feel fulfilled when I have been able to help my patients get better, give them support and develop a trusting relationship with them.
I want our patients to know that we work hard to make a difference in their lives. Our approach to care is focused on preventing, detecting, or intervening upon illness before long-term complications develop. When I take off my coat, I love spending time outdoors with my three boys and four grandchildren.
