I have been living in Whitehaven since the age of five and graduated from Whitehaven High School. Being able to serve my community is a privilege that I do not take lightly. It is an honor to give back to the community that gave me support in my younger years from awesome teachers, neighbors, and spiritual leaders.
I decided to go into medicine because of my mom who was a registered nurse and inspired me. She would often come home and tell my siblings and I stories from her workday. These stories were the initial spark that ignited my love for medicine. Combining my compassion for others and love of the sciences made becoming a doctor the perfect career path for me.
A good day at work means I’m able to ease a parent’s concerns while providing excellent and efficient service to my patients. A good day also means I’m able to educate my parents and patients about their medical conditions empowering them to take charge of their health.
I want you to know that at Sanitas we provide a platform for excellent healthcare and a friendly environment.
When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my three daughters. This pandemic has reminded me that time with family is sometimes taken for granted and has given me a different outlook on life.
