About me

As a pediatric nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I'll do my best to make you feel better via the Virtual Medical Center for on-demand care. Being bilingual, English and Spanish, helps me communicate better with a variety of patients. It's been a good day at work for me when I know I've made a positive difference in the lives of the families I've touched.

I enjoy developing close relationships with my young patients and their parents, and providing top-notch care. I chose to pursue a career in medicine because I believed the profession would challenge me to be my best, while giving me the chance to make a difference in the community. I particularly love pediatrics because children are very resilient. Their strength and hope put a smile on my face every day.

I'm a proud first-generation Cuban-American, born and raised in Miami, Florida. My family sacrificed everything to pursue new opportunities in America. They have been a wonderful inspiration, and I try to pass their example along to my own family.

When I'm not working, I enjoy spending time near the ocean, traveling and trying delicious food with my family at new restaurants.
