Lester Alvarez, APRN

As a Family nurse practitioner at Sanitas, my focus is on resolving my patient’s health problems. I listen to them and get to know them, which helps me develop the best care plan for each. Though my patients can communicate with me in either English or Spanish, Spanish is my native language. A good day at work is when they leave Sanitas with smiles on their faces.  

I arrived in the U.S. in 2016 under a federal program for Cuban doctors. I’ve lived in Miami, for about 7 years and recently moved to Orlando. I take my responsibilities seriously and act responsibly in my professional and personal life. 

When I’m not working, I enjoy going to the movies, attending theater productions and reading a good book.
