About me

At Sanitas, I’m an advocate for my patients. I make sure they are listened to and valued so they feel empowered, knowing they have help from someone who cares. My patients receive whole-person, patient-centered health care. I help provide physical, emotional, behavioral and social services for optimal well-being. When I’ve helped amplify my patient's voice, providing the atmosphere for them to feel comfortable in sharing their needs, it’s a good day at work.

I was born in the U.S. Virgin Islands and moved to the mainland as a child. Growing up as the daughter of military parents, we moved and traveled often. I had the privilege of living in Texas, New York, Maryland, Georgia and Florida. Over 20 years ago, I began my career in the medical field due to the influence of my mother, a combat medic specialist. The compassion and sensitivity she gave her patients was often recognized and rewarded. I’m proud to continue her legacy with empathy, warm-heartedness, kindness and caring while helping my patients.

After work, I like to relax and curl up with a good book. Some books allow me to learn while others allow me to escape or have interesting adventures. Yoga helps with my spiritual, psychological and emotional wellness.
