As a physician assistant at Sanitas, I treat each patient with respect and equality, and always ensure the best level of care possible. A good day at work means I'm able to help at least one person feel better. I enjoy seeing the light in someone’s eyes when they understand a problem they were dealing with. I love helping people with their problems and finding a solution for them, which is why I chose medicine as a career. I am a creative problem solver and medicine is my best platform to get it done.
I was born in Toronto, Canada, but grew up in Orlando, FL. My parents decided they no longer enjoyed living in snow, so they moved to the Sunshine State. My parents are originally from India, and my siblings and I were raised speaking both English and Hindi. I'm also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL). My sister is deaf, and I grew up using ASL to communicate with her. I love to use Spanish in conversational and medical settings but am not fully fluent yet.
When I take off my coat, I enjoy traveling with my husband whenever possible. We love to cook new foods together and try making international foods—we get a variety of delicious flavors!
