As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I strive to bring the highest quality healthcare services to my patients, whether in person or assisting them through a telemedicine visit. It’s a good day at work when I’m able to remove obstacles for my patients. Sometimes this could mean assisting in coordination of supplies or consults while other times it’s simply being ready and willing to listen while they are on their journey to better healthcare. Making their care streamlined, seamless and holistic always ensures that it’s a good day at work. I’ve lived in Houston since elementary school. I decided to go into medicine because of my love of helping others. With over 13 years of experience as an RN, I specialized in emergency medicine and cardiovascular intensive care working at Texas Children’s Hospital and HCA Houston Healthcare–Kingwood Hospital. I’m a published author after leading a group of healthcare providers to achieve groundbreaking milestones in improving the safety and quality of patients with peripheral intravenous care needs. When I take off my coat, I enjoy spending time with my husband and three beautiful babies.
