As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I take time and listen to my patients' concerns. When they feel understood, we can develop a trusting relationship. When someone tells me that they are grateful for supporting them during a difficult time, it's really a great day at work.
Though born in Argentina, I've lived in Florida for most of my life. My parents brought their young family here in search of a better life and education. Nurses and doctors helped my premature nephew survive—ever since then, I wanted to help and support families as well and decided on a career in medicine. In September of 2019, I volunteered on the first cruise ship providing aid to those without access to healthcare in the Bahamas after hurricane Dorian. It was the most rewarding experience of my life. I speak English and Spanish, and can understand Portuguese. My first language is Spanish, but I would spend summers in Brazil, so I understand Portuguese and learned English once we moved to the United States.
When I take off my coat, I love walking on the beach and fishing with my family.
