I was born in Havana, Cuba, and I moved to the United States in 1991 with my family. I decided to get into medicine because I wanted to make a positive contribution to my community and society as a whole. Providing excellent medical care to my patients is a key aspect of happiness and fulfillment for me. A good day at work for me is any day I can make some sort of change, no matter how big or small, in a patient’s life for the better. I want our patients to know that at Sanitas, their health and wellbeing is our top priority. The doctors, nurses, and medical staff work together as a team to ensure our patients get the best care we can possibly offer them. When I take off my coat at the end of the day, you can usually find me at my local Crossfit studio or watching live sports events and concerts. My favorite way to spend my free time definitely has to be spending quality time with my family. Nothing beats hanging out with them.
