About me

I was born at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Maryland and moved often as my father flew from base to base around the world—learning new cultures, meeting incredible people and becoming comfortable with change and transition.
I was a stay-at-home mom with two little kids when I realized I wanted to pursue my dreams of being a doctor. I also have a birth defect that caused several issues when I had accidents and injuries. In the process of understanding my condition, I met two doctors, in both traditional and osteopathic medicine, who encourage my dream of becoming a doctor. I became an osteopathic and family medicine doctor with a deep conviction that both combined disciplines can make a big difference in my patients’ health.
I joined Sanitas because of the collaborative approach to care we have and how beneficial it is to patients and their families. In this effective team setting, we work together with mutual respect and the common goal to improve our patients’ health. We want our patients to feel part of the Sanitas family and know at the end of the appointment, that they were welcomed, well cared for and ultimately got better.
When I take off my coat, I go home to my cute little fuzzy puppy, Jeremiah.  I got into fashion and design because they are a form of personal expression. I love helping my friends or their homes reflect their vision and look their best.
