At Sanitas, I promote healthy behavior and risk prevention while working to improve the quality of life for my patients. It’s very satisfying when patients tell me they’d recommend my service to others because it was simple to make a helpful change that would last. I was raised in Mexico, but I left home for college in New Jersey. I wanted to study mental health counseling to learn effective, evidence-based skills to help people and to learn about their wants and needs. Growing up in Mexico City helped me understand the Hispanic population even better than textbooks. When I’m not working, I enjoy movie night and a big bowl of popcorn with my family. We love our home in beautiful South Florida. We enjoy going to the beach and snorkeling in the summer, and love to take in the Christmas light displays in the winter.
