About me

I was born and raised in Houston, Texas, specifically in the Trinity Gardens area of Houston. Because it was a low income and medically underserved area, I came to believe early on that patients should always have access to effective medical treatment. I’m based at the Sanitas Medical Center in Briarforest.

While I speak Spanish and English, my father communicates only in Spanish. It’s difficult for people to get quality care when there’s a language barrier. So I feel very fortunate to be able to provide medical care to my patients in both languages.

I decided to go into medicine because many people in low-income areas often lacked access to medical care. I want to be there to do what I can as a physician to provide the best medical care possible to the community.

It’s always a good day when I have assisted a patient in making a change that is going to help them live a healthier life. At Sanitas, the entire staff is here to listen to patients’ concerns, and to provide the best medical care possible.

When I’m away from work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, whether it’s watching a movie together, having a conversation, or simply just having dinner. I also really enjoy exploring the history and foods of different countries.
