I was born in Cuba and I moved to the USA with my family in 1962. I decided to get into medicine because I had a passion for helping people. Knowing that I could positively impact my patients’ lives makes me work harder every day. A good day at work means knowing that I was able to provide medical care to someone who needed it and that he or she left the medical center fully satisfied. Having healthier, happier and satisfied patients is ultimately how we at Sanitas measure success. When you become our patient, you will get personalized, compassionate and excellent medical care. We are here for you! At the end of the day, I am thankful that I was able to help others. When I am not working, my absolute favorite thing to do is spend time with my family—share my life with them. I also enjoy working in my backyard, traveling with my family, fishing and kayaking on my spare time.
