Jolson K. Tharakan, MD

Working as a doctor at Sanitas, I value and respect my patients as individuals. I listen to them, spend time getting to know them––working with them to reach their health goals. It’s a good day when patients and my care teams feel that what we’ve accomplished together and that it was beneficial to those seeking care.  

Portland, Oregon, where I was born and raised, was home to me before moving to Texas. I decided to go into medicine because I’m fascinated by the science and felt I could help people. 

I enjoy spending time with my family and watching a basketball game when I get time off. I also enjoy jazz music and whitewater rafting.
