About me

I was born in Caracas, Venezuela and moved to the U.S. in 1990 to study for the medical boards. I did this for five years before transitioning into Family Medicine from 1996 to 1999. I had first decided to pursue a degree in Biology but I decided that my real passions were to help people and the medical field gave me a better opportunity to do this.

For me, a great day at work is when I have the opportunity to enjoy and spend time with my patients and coworkers. I enjoy educating my patients about their health issues and telling them about the solutions that I'm providing for them.

Sanitas is special because we strive to provide the best care for each of our patients and their families in a warm and welcoming environment.

In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar with my husband. We mostly play Latin American duets. I also enjoy spending time with my friends and my family at the beach, but my mind is always thinking of better ways I can serve my patients.
