About me

I was born in Dallas. While I spent most of my childhood in the metroplex, I also lived for a time in Lagos, Nigeria, where my parents are from. That’s where I developed a passion for medicine, inspired by my uncle, who was a primary care physician there. I admired his approach to caring for his patients and the respect his patients showed him. I grew in love with the concept of helping a sick person feel better and helping people stay healthy!

As an adult I’ve lived in such diverse places as Detroit (where I completed my residency), Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and Laredo Texas, which is predominantly Spanish-speaking. This ignited my interest in learning the Spanish language. I also speak a Nigerian language called Igbo.

I think it’s important to motivate and inspire my staff and patients. Putting a smile on their faces has always been my daily goal. In fact, I may not let you leave until I get a smile! Sanitas is very invested in quality patient care, and you can expect an excellent physician-patient relationship with me. Outside of work, I enjoy serving the less privileged, advocating for orphans and marginalized children. I love outdoor activities, movies and learning to play the guitar and keyboard!
