About me

As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, my patients' physical and emotional well-being are my priority. I care for them like family. I practice individualized medicine tailored to their specific needs and spend quality time with my patients to make sure all their concerns are addressed. A good day at work means making a difference in my patients’ lives by addressing their healthcare needs and seeing a smile on their faces.

I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba, where I attended medical school. As a young girl, my father had a terminal illness, which allowed me to witness firsthand the difference a provider can make in the lives of a patient and their family. I've wanted to help care for others since then. My family and I made the decision to come to the United States in pursuit of freedom and a better life in 2006, and I've called Plantation, Florida, home ever since. I never gave up on my calling to the medical field and was able to accomplish my goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. I’m very familiar with the community I serve and am glad my bilingual skills are put to good use. Spanish is my native language and I am fluent in English as well.

When I take off my coat, I love to go on travel adventures, and enjoy dancing and reading.
