About me

I was born and raised in Havana, Cuba where I attended medical school. My family and I made the decision to come to the United States in pursuit of freedom and a better life in 2006. I never gave up on my calling to the medical field and was able to accomplish my goal of becoming a nurse practitioner. I have called Plantation home ever since and I’m extremely familiar with the community I serve. Spanish is my native language, but I am fluent in English as well.

I decided to go into medicine because as a young girl my father had a terminal illness allowing me to witness firsthand the difference a provider can make in a patient and their families lives’. I have always wanted to help care for others since then.

A good day at work means making a difference in my patients’ lives by addressing their healthcare needs and seeing a smile on their faces.

I want you to know that at Sanitas our patients physical and emotional well-being is our priority and we treat you like family here. We practice individualized medicine tailored to your specific needs and spend quality time with patients to make sure all their concerns are addressed.

When I take off my coat, I love to go on travel adventures, dance, and to read.
