As a physician assistant at Sanitas, I walk alongside my patients to advise and make them feel comfortable with the healthcare process. I respect their wishes and treat them like family. A good day at work means I was able to help my patients learn something about their health and how to take care of themselves in better ways. Any day my patients leave with their health concerns addressed and smiles on their faces is a good day for me.
I was born in Caracas, Venezuela, and came to the United States looking for better opportunities. I earned my bachelor's degree at the University of Florida before moving to Philadelphia to complete my master's degree. I have since returned to Orlando, where I call home, and am proud to be considered a Floridian. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which is my native language. I decided to go into medicine because I wanted to heal the sick. Helping others is a passion of mine and healthcare gives me the unique opportunity to pursue this every day.
When I take off my coat, my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family. I also enjoy reading a good book, watching movies, and walking my dog.
