About me

I was born and raised in Miami in a Hispanic, Spanish-speaking household. I am fluent in Spanish and English and also speak a little bit of Japanese.

I have always admired the problem-solving aspect of science, and pursuing a career in medicine allowed me the opportunity to solve problems every day. I was also inspired by Louis Pasteur, the inventor of the polio vaccine.

A good day at work for me means that I have genuinely helped a patient. Whether it means they can now climb stairs, play with their kids, or feel overall healthier, I know that I've done my job.

At Sanitas, you'll find that we pay close attention to the medical details of a patient. Whether in their present condition or their medical history, we work to solve their health problems and improve their health. We also offer a comfortable setting that feels less like a medical facility and more like home during their stay.

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, boating, scuba diving, and reading novels. I also do everything I can to take care of my health through exercise and nutrition. I also enjoy spending time with my family.
