About me

I was originally born in Cuba, although I came to the United States when I was six years old. Spanish has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember with both of my parents speaking it in the home growing up. I am fluent in both Spanish and English, and it helps me communicate with more patients and people. Medicine runs in my family as my mother is a Nurse Practitioner and my grandmother was in the medical field as well. In fact, my mother and I attended medical school at the same time, and she graduated only four months before me. I've always wanted to help people, and a career in the medical field satisfies this dream.

For me, a good day at work means that I can go home knowing that I made a difference in my patients' lives and impacted their day. I strive always to improve their health conditions through positive care.

I want people to know that Sanitas offers the best possible care for each of our patients. We offer a personal touch to healthcare and are interested in each patient's health and support group.

When I take off my lab coat, I like to spend most of my time at the beach with my Shar Pei, Sushi. I also enjoy spending time with family during our weekly family dinners along with reading on our boat.
