As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, my patients get the very best care. I spend time with them, get to know them and treat them like family. It’s a good day at work for me when a treatment I prescribe makes a patient feel better. My patients can talk to me in English but I also speak Portuguese and Spanish. Born in Brazil, I came to the U.S. as a child. Orlando is now my home. As a Christian, one of my life’s missions is to help others, which is a main reason I chose a career in medicine. At the end of the day, I thank God for another day in which I was able to help others. I enjoy reading, learning, going to church, and spending time with family and friends.
