As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I believe in building trust and connecting with patients and their families by encouraging open and transparent communication. Compassion, empathy, accountability and excellence help form my work ethic. A good day at work means a patient has advocated for themselves and contributed to their own care. I was born in New York and raised in Texas. I developed a passion for medicine from watching my mother, a devoted ICU nurse. I’ve worked in the greater Houston area in hospitals, clinics and home health settings as well as in facilities for long-term acute care, skilled nursing and assisted living. I spend most of my time with my family and friends. We love new and adventurous experiences, but we also enjoy relaxing at home and taking Sunday afternoon naps.
