I was born in Havana, Cuba and grew up in the Nuevo Vedado region. My family and I came to the United States in 2014 in search of better opportunities. Spanish is my native language, but I am also fluent in English, Italian, and French. Being multilingual allows me to communicate better with my patients’ who are from a diverse range of countries and cultures. I decided to go into medicine because I’ve always had a passion for science and taking care of those in need. Healthcare gives me the unique opportunity to practice both and it’s a privilege I never take for granted. A good day at work means providing healthcare to all my patients on time and seeing all their health concerns satisfied. Any time my patients’ leave the medical center with a smile on their face it’s been a good day at work.
