Ashley H. Wheaton, MSW

As a social worker at Sanitas, I treat patients virtually, through the mySanitas app, online or over the phone. My specialty is motivational interviewing and my goal is to help each one live a healthy and more fulfilling lifestyle. When seeing patients goes smoothly and the patients are responding well to their care, it's a good day at work.  

I chose medicine because I wanted to be in the helping profession and be able to help someone get back to living a fulfilling life and having a healthy mind. I keep a clear and positive attitude so I can work effectively. When working with patients, I also complete the patient documentation and enroll them in the BeWell program. 

In my free time, I love going to theme parks to experience the thrill of riding rollercoasters. Watching action movies, particularly Marvel and DC superheroes movies, really gets my attention. I also enjoy participating in yoga.
