I was born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq, but consider myself a world citizen. I attended medical school in Iraq, but had to seek a better future in the United States where I lived in New Mexico and Texas, continuing my family medicine residency. I am fluent in Arabic and English, but am currently working on learning Spanish as well. I chose to pursue a career in medicine after experiencing what it was like to be diagnosed by a professional doctor. It inspired me to provide that same reassurance to patients. A good day at work for me is every day because I always have the chance to help better mankind. At Sanitas, you’ll find that we all work as one big family, doing our best to make you feel welcomed and satisfied with your care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We cook together, watch movies, explore new places, and do service projects.
