About me

It's great to be part of the caring family at Sanitas, where I get to do my best to make you feel welcomed and satisfied with your care. I chose to pursue a career in medicine after experiencing what it was like to be diagnosed by a professional doctor. It inspired me to provide that same reassurance to patients. A good day at work for me is every day because I always have the chance to care for people, help make them healthier and their lives better.

Born and raised in Baghdad, Iraq, I consider myself a world citizen. I attended medical school in Iraq but had to seek a better future in the United States, where I've lived in New Mexico and Texas, continuing my family medicine residency. I'm fluent in Arabic and English, and am currently learning Spanish as well.

In my free time, I enjoy being with my family. We cook, watch movies, explore new places and do service projects together—making lots of family memories and fun.
