Aimara Garcia, APRN

As a nurse practitioner at Sanitas, I'm part of a multidisciplinary team working together to promote the health and well-being of our patients and community.  My focus on preventative care helps my patients avoid health complications in the future. I enjoy the medical field because it gives me the opportunity to make a real impact on someone’s life. A good day at work for me means that I have done everything that I can to help my patients feel better. Even if I only make a minor impact during the day, I still go home feeling fulfilled.

I was born and raised in Cuba but moved to the United States when I was 18 to continue my education in the medical field. Living in Miami has been a dream come true, and I’ve learned a lot being so close to the Latin American community. Since I was young, I've had a strong passion for helping and interacting with others.

After work, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. I also enjoy learning about new cultures, reading and watching TV series.
