About me

I’m originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. When I was 11 years old, my family and I moved to Miami, where I went to Middle and High School. Even then, I was always interested in helping people in any way I could. That’s what got me interested in pursuing a career in medicine.

As a doctor specializing in family medicine, I enjoy the challenge of figuring out people’s illnesses so I can help them recover and heal. And there’s nothing more fulfilling than when a patient comes away from an appointment feeling like they’ve been helped and they’re getting better.

The thing I like best about Sanitas—something I think our patients will like, too—is that our whole staff is here to guide them to better health. That has different meanings for everyone, and that’s why we approach medicine on an individual and personalized manner.

To me, a world of health is about practicing medicine the way it should be. That means getting to know patients one-on-one and helping them make the most of their health, right here and now. It’s a lot better than waiting for them to get sick or injured and just treating whatever is wrong.

In my downtime, I like to spend as much time as possible with my family. I enjoy sports, fishing, attending theatre performances and going to the movies.
