While working as a registered nurse in a hospital, I became interested in helping people make choices that can keep them from becoming a patient or improving their chronic diseases through preventative medicine. Now, working at Sanitas, I’m able to do that and am glad I can make a difference in my patients’ lives. Their questions are heard and answered. It’s a good day at work when someone understands that small changes, alongside any prescribed medication, can make a difference. When I was young, my family moved often since my father was in the Air Force when “permanent change of station” occurred. So I learned how to make new friends and got to learn about other cities around the country. I’m also fluent in English and Spanish. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. There are many places I still want to visit.
